Morning all my wonderful friends. I had a good week-end. Husbands Company Chrismas party was Saturday and I stayed right on plan. I did have a Rum and diet cola, which was ok. Didn't much care for the flavor as I usually have a White Russian. I'm not a drinker anyway, but on occassion will have one. I passed on the rolls, sweet pickles, potato and desert. I did it and very proud of myself. Hope all had a great weekend and were able to stay on your plans. To stay consistent in what you are doing is the best thing you can do for yourself. In some cases, throwing yourself a curve ball OFF plan us usually means a set back. I know it does for me anyway. If you are one of the few people that it doesn't affect that way, then I am very happy for you. Hope all had a great weekend and can't wait to get back into some exercise this morning. I've been very bad about that and I have failed on my challenge. I just need Stef(my personal coach)to really kick my butt.lol Talk soon all.:)

heyyyyyy laurie!!!! get up, go on get up!!!!i went to the closet just for you and found my boots now don't they look silly while i am wearing my p.j.'s still... its monday and no rest for us! stef is doing it and i am doing it we have to have our 3rd muskateer! all for one and one for all! honk honk honk consider your self pushed to the front of the v time to get up and fly!

Great Job, staying on plan, having a good time and even managing to have one drink. Sorry you didn't like the rum and coke, that's my favorite - dark rum and pepsi (diet of course) or wine. Its very empowering when you get through an event like that, knowing that you enjoyed yourself without all the crap and no guilt. Good job. Proud of you too. Sorry I didn't see you earlier, but I was being a princess this morning and having a long sleep in.

That's great you were able to stay on plan, Laurie. I treated myself to a vodka, coke zero and a bit of lime juice over the weekend. Was so tasty because I hadn't had a drink in over a month. I usually drink rum/coke as well. Keep warm everyone! -Laurie

Sounds like a wonderful weekend! Great job staying the course. I have found that I really like Seagrams and diet Dew or diet Sprite!

I hear you on the exercise Laurie. I'm waiting til later in the day to consider walking as we're barely above freezing here. I know....you'd probably be out working in shorts if it got above freezing with sun and no snow! LOL! But, I may just hop on the Stairmaster instead. I've got to prepare myself for the new challenge I entered that starts tomorrow....10x10x10. Oh gosh, what WAS I thinking???!!! It's not kettlebells but it should work some muscles that have been too dormant for too long. Have a good day and stay warm!

Thank you Is. My usual drink is a White Russian. Boy do I wish I could be a princess, but the animals don't sleep in.lol The husband and I have been talking about getting rid of the cows and just keep the horses and chickens. Then I MIGHT be able to sleep in. Although, the husband is up at 5am, 7 days a week. So, NOPE, I probably wouldn't be able to sleep in.
