my name is laura i am 46 years old and a few years ago i went from 209 to 175 then after my divorce i just didnt care any more and gained back to 225 seems i woke up about 2 months ago and realized i hurt all over was looking at heart disease and medication my blood sugars were becoming unstable and it took every thing i had just to get my butt out of bed every day! so here i am starting over again! i have stayed away from the scale and i am so much more relaxed about it! starting to destress about every thing diet and just relax and do what i gotta do. it doesn't matter what i weigh it doesn't matter if i am perfect i will do what i know to do for today and let the rest deal with its self. i will eat healthy and drink the water my body needs to cleanse its self i will get up and move and allow my body to live.

Question About Calories
no by all means do not stay where you are! you need to eat calories or you will put your body into starvation mode and you will be sick and not lose weight . that is the number one problem of people just starting out they think they have to keep the cals low but it is the opisite. i sugest you eat a can of tuna or some chicken with mayo and dill relish. if you have some american cheese you can microwave it into crackers to eat the tuna salad on. or just eat some hamberger or meat of any kind just keep it fat and protien. then tommarow try to budget your carbs better!
