Had a great back and biceps workout this morning. Easily pulled 45's (dumbbells) for back rows for 12 reps. I know with that many reps I should increase the weight but I feel like it causes me to lose proper form. I'm sure some women lift heavier but that's a good weight for me right now. Pull downs felt strong, too... 110 for 10. Hubby said I lean back too much when I go to 120, so I dropped it back down. Then a quick cardio session tonight for shits and giggles. Long story short... I'm hungry. 😬 Maybe hitting the gym twice a day defeats the purpose if its just going to make me want to overeat. I'm about 300 calories over already so I'm going to drink some water and hit the hay.

Daily doubles. Impressive. You’re killing it. I do agree on pulling back for the sake of proper form. You’ll get there. Don’t need an injury.

Wow DP! 45s? I thought I was doing good at 27/30. I do 12 reps as well,3 sets. Well it could be that I'm about 20+ years older than u!πŸ’œπŸ’œ What do you curl? (free weights)

Diana - I superset back and biceps so I think if I did only biceps it would be with 20 but the back tires them out (in my opinion). I typically use 15's. They have 17.5# also which I can do but the 15's are used most often. No idea about 1 rep max- presumably higher.

Know what's not impressive? Finding a website where you can put in what you lift and it calculates your 1 rep max and tells you how strong you are compared to others. On that site, I wasn't strong. Maybe everyone lied. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ Has me confused about what is the average weight women use. I have no one to compare to. None of my friends lift (though now they are all asking questions about what I do). πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ’• a majority of the women seem to do squats only. They only want a nice butt. I want it all. And I'll have it. Time to weigh in and see if I'm up or down.

Wifey - this may seem strange to say- but I feel like we look alike and it makes me like you more. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ I do my hair like that sometimes, too. Don't hurt your elbow! My little one (11 so not so little) is stuck in this phase of asking would you rather questions. Her last one - would you rather have no knees or no elbows? It really got the family talking. I immediately thought if I don't have elbows, how will I get the food in my mouth? Lmao. That's what that reminded me of-a bit off subject. πŸ™ƒ
