Thanks guys! d leonard, Im in Stafford area and in the middle of moving to the Sugar Land area so Im watching both houses. The Woodlands is way up north. Im not 100% sure how theyre doing but I do know that the rain hit the far north and the far south areas the hardest, according to the news. If they are close to the airport then its likely really bad. Hope they're ok.

@D, there was quite a bit of flooding in The Woodlands this morning, I didn't watch the news this evening. Ada, glad you made it home safely. I live 2 miles west of the Galleria in a high area, so no flooding for me.

Glad you are safe. Yep Houston is on the list for future extinction.

Well Kenna, considering that some scientists are putting homo sapiens on the list for upcoming extinction, I think concerns for Houston are moot. :(

Shirfleur1– you are right about human extinction but unfortunately the loss of some of the US southern states and specific locations is much more imminent.

Yes, coastal areas all over the world. My older son has a summer cabin with a nearby stream high on a hillside; I may have to move up there. 😁

Sorry to hear! How is the weather today.

Thanks guys 💓 MsJay, the weather today has been mixed cloudy and sunny. It just started raining again where I am, about 5 min ago. Supposed to rain for the next 2 hrs but nowhere near how heavy it was yesterday. Roads are clear around my house and job areas.
