Day 1 of a planned 2 days of eating

I will definitely gain weight this weekend. Perhaps not tomorrow, but, I have NEVER ‘eaten solid food’ for 2+ days and not gained weight.

My only hope is to slow down my weight gain. In the past, I have been able to do this by keeping my carbs and protein low and doing a lot of cardio. I have also tried the high protein, hit the gym hard method, but, I was stuck in the high 170s for months when I did that.

Next week, I want to get the mental motivation to ‘water fast’ for at least three days. When fasting, 3 days is the sweet spot. The problem I have had in recent months is that I haven’t been able to find the 'motivation' to put in the ‘mental effort’ to fast that long…

However, our vacation to the Bahamas is coming up...

Baby steps???? On thing that helps me is to pre plate everything and then put all the rest away.

@liv001 - will 'pre-load' my expected food in Fat Secret for the day :) I can't 'pre-plate' it because we plan to go out to a restaurant...

@liv001 - Ok food pre-loaded! Now, I will 'dig in' and just stick to the plan! Basically, I just need to 'hold on' until about 6:00pm when I plan to allow myself an-entire-rack-of-ribs Haha! However, I will be reducing my calories and macros by nearly 40% over last weekend...

@Draglist - Yeah, no-matter-what I will 'enjoy' myself on vacation. What I DO plan to do differently is lift heavy and not do any cardio for that entire week. Normally this causes me to gain weight, but, in this case I will gain weight anyway haha!
