katies71's Journal, 05 March 2019

No news...sigh. I don't have an after pic because...unfortunately I still look like this lol. I have done my measurements twice. Once at the beginning of February and once at the end. But...I didn't see a lot of downward movement. I kind of thought that I would see more just because of the amount of weight that I've lost. I have lost about 45 pounds since 11/17/18.

Neck - down 0.75"
Chest - up 0.75"
Bra Band - down 0.75"
Waist - down 0.5"
Hip - down 1"
Bicep - down 0.75"
Thigh - down 1.5"
286.1 lb Lost so far: 46.9 lb.    Still to go: 86.1 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

45 pounds is, um... 45 POUNDS! Enjoy your success wherever it comes. The body takes longer to start looking different. I had been losing weight for 4 months when I started last year before people started noticing.

It will get there. I've lost a total of 62 since then end of May and I'm just starting to see what's below the layers. You've got this sweetie, just don't give up, the muscles are coming🙋

Appearances can be deceiving. Interesting fact: We have never seen our own face. We have only seen reflections in photos, video and mirrors. We never see ourselves as others see us. In the end it doesn't matter what we look like, this is about your health and overall wellness. It will take a long time before you really notice. For me it was when my size 26 jeans were gathered so much with a belt that my husband called them my hobo pants.

You're doing great! As far as measurements... I've dropped 55 pounds as of today, I just made goal (thought I intend to shoot for another 10 pounds) and I think my measurements have changed by maybe 1/2 inch altogether? lol I think it has to do with the way we measure ourselves, holding that tape in just a slightly different position each time? So go by the way your clothes fit, those don't lie! ;-)
