My name is Sandra. I've struggled with my weight since my early teens. The interesting thing is that I'm somewhere in limbo. I've never really been obese, but I've never been considered thin either. At my heaviest, I weighed 170 pounds, and my thinnest has been 135 pounds. I'm 48 years old, with two grown kids; so at this point its really about feeling good about myself and staying healthy. I would like to be under 150 pounds because that is where I feel comfortable. Like most of you, I've tried a variety of diets, diet pills and diet fads. The best results I have seen thus far is with the low carb "diet". My issue is that I HATE the gym, and I have trouble getting and staying focused. I found this site and liked it because I get to read about other people's struggles and successes; and I am hoping that this will keep me motivated.
