I know kale is considered a superfood but I've yet to find it prepared in a way I like it.

Omg I really needed that laugh... I don’t like kale either but it’s ok as a shake just add pineapples. Red apples kale n a lil water.

In my humble opinion, the only thing kale is good for is lining the edge of the relish tray. It was never meant to be eaten. Yuck.

Bacon and/or smoked sausage browned in a large pan, onions and peppers sauteed, de-stem the kale and chop up stems and saute like they were celery, add a little water and sliced kale leaves in thin strips (Chiffonade' cut) to pan last to steam. Dress with lemon juice and feta cheese. Good served tossed with pasta too. :)

One of those food either you love or hate. I hate it.

I'm in the hate club as well. Just can't stand it.

I like it. I didn’t know it was disliked so much. Lol! But there’s plenty of other healthy foods out there for you to enjoy!

I use it to make a soup, and it is pretty good. It holds up better in the soup than spinach would. The soup is yummy and it is guaranteed to make me go to the bathroom LOL.

I'm not a huge fan, but I eat it. I like the smoked flavor it adds to foods when you cook them together. I like it in soup. I do not like it raw and alone but I will eat it with spinach leaves as long as the spinach is in the majority. I had kale chips once and they were good, but I have no idea how the person made them and I question if they were worth the effort.

I miss soup. I used to make it all the time. I'm going to need to find a way to work that back into a carb friendly recipe. As frugal as I am I wished I liked it - it's usually less expensive than spinach. I've had the kale chips; even sacrificed a few innocent bundles of kale trying to make my own. Way too much work in my opinion but most likely because mine didn't come out right.

Very easy to make carb friendly soup especially if you like cream based soups. Just sautee some veggies (I like a bit of celery, a bit of onion, a bit of carrot, a lot of cauliflower (it is the thickener of the soup) and mushrooms. Add stock and boil till everything is cooked. Blend it add some cream and spices.

I love kale but can only eat baby kale— the regular is just to hard on my digestive system. I make kale chips in the microwave., and zuccini chips. Just Google and you will find several methods listed.

I mix mine in with collards or turnip greens.

I enjoy baby kale added to my own version of Olive Garden Tuscano soup. I sub cauliflower for the potatoes. The kale added to this creamy hot Italian and bacon soup is really good. I also use kale on broiled naan bread (lightly oiled) , then topped with a lot of goat cheese & diced tomatoes and broiled. Watch closely so it doesn’t burn. My non green eating husband loves these: calls them his healthy Kale Pizza.

I'm a firm believer in finding foods I like and eating those not forcing myself to eat stuff that I hate.

Smoothies!!! Kale, avocado, etc I've found, can be easily blended with berries or apples to create a delicious bright flavor that doesn't induce gagging!
