@Wannabhealthier - How dare you txt me @ 4:58 AM talking about about me slipping into old unhealthy habits and having a good time! I wanted to be mad at you and curse you out but the truth hurts sometimes and you are a real friend for calling me out and telling me what I need to, not want to hear. Love and respect to you bro!!!!

~~~ Action cures fears ~~~
Fears may seem irrational but they can stop you dead in your tracks if you let them.
What are the fears that are keeping me from my weight loss goals?
Fear: If I lower my calories then my metabolism will slow down and then after I reach my desired weight, I will go back to eating more calories and then get back to where I started.
Truth: Metabolism fluctuations are normal and slight caloric changes will not crash my metabolism. I will be a disciplined person to get to the next stage so going the other direction is probably not going to happen because the new goal will be maintenance.
Fear: I will have excess skin when I go down another 35 - 40 lbs.
Truth: I've been stuck at a 35 - 40 lb weight loss for almost 2 years now and my skin is not loose.
Fear: I will screw up.
Truth: I will screw up. I need to work on reducing the repeat screw ups until they don't exist anymore. Falling down is a part of life. Getting back up is where it counts.
ENOUGH of this holding pattern. I lost a bunch of weight and kept it off. I need to poop or get off the pot. My legs are really numb right about now!!!
Going back to "I don't bite unless I write. Not the other way around." - I've got 20 days to make this a habit so I can ring in 2019 the best year ever.
The struggle is real.
Hi Ches. Check out videos on autophagy. It might be something you might check into. I also was worried about loose skin, but being within about 7 pounds (not the weight I'm concerned with but the abs) I'm not having an issue there. I think autophagy from fasting and IF have looked after that. I'm heading toward my 60th and hope to post a photo at that time. I know 'you can do it' is kind of like saying'how are you' a rather nothing encouragement, but I have read enough to know your mindset and know you're able. Kick it up man. You're close to where you want to be. As you near the end of the cut, slow down and the loss and you'll find your true maintenance. Exercise, but don't rely on it. Calories burned are insignificant. I haven't told you anything new. I'm just saying....
Thanks @Keilin_4. I can and will. @Mom2Boxers - he is crazy and so am I. @northernmusician, near the end of Jan this year, I spent a weekend reading about and binge watching YT videos about autophagy and soft dry fasting. I did a few starting on 2/1 and referred to them in secrecy as SDF. I had tremendous success and should have incorporated them into my journey more frequently. I did them in the middle of the work week and had energy to spare. I will return to them before the year end and into the new year because personally for me, it was easier than water fasting and it was probably fear of judgement that kept me from keeping it up. Back to what worked. @rubato456, thanks. Additional stress on my heart? I got plenty and need to reduce the workload on my ticker.
