since I got those couple mornings of low glucose readings I have tried a new routine and tested closely all day for two days.

By adding more fat and less protein and having a snack or meal later in the night I have good glucose in the morning. in the 4.1 range and I don't feel the need to eat first thing.
1st day 2.3 ketone 4.5 glucose after coffee, a few hours later with no food 2.5 ketone and 4.1 glucose. ate a high fat meal and several hours later 2.8 ketone and 4.5 glucose, before dinner 3.9 ketone and 3.8 glucose

2nd day, which is ongoing today, 3.6 ketone and 4.1 glucose after coffee, forgot to do early morning before coffee. after eating probably 1 hour 3.7 ketone and 4.5 glucose, 3 hours after eating and having another cup of coffee in me 4.6 ketone and 4.1 glucose. I do think coffee does also effect the ketones. I only have cream and stevia or just stevia in the coffee

from what I am seeing here I have a more stable glucose and higher ketones with more fat, less protein and coffee. I still have a lot of protein but my fat level is much higher percentage.

I think I have the same results. Today will be telling because I will have much lower protein today than normal but still high fat. It will be interesting to see if my morning BS is lower.

yes I have much higher fat most likely but it is interesting to track the difference, so far my protein is only 48 grams and fat is 86 grams. so pretty much 2 to one. this is guessing as my fat has a little bit of beef in there and my beef has a little bit of fat in it. problem sometimes with meat you can only approximate to the closest looking entry to what you have unless you have a label like some products do. fat burning doesn't have to be this high and I hope it drops this afternoon as that will show my body using the ketones for fuel. I had around 900 calories since 3;30 am and been doing chores no workouts yet. not that they burn much.

I am discovering myself and it is really interesting. this is healing levels on the ketones so I don't know if I will lose fat on this higher fat percentage, but it is all a learning experience. I need to heal first and be patient to get the rest of my plan for more muscle development go at the pace my body allows. slower pace but still going forward!

Very interesting. How many grams of protein were you eating vs the last couple of days? Maybe it was enough protein to convert some of it into glucose?

Thinking of you now when I get to enjoy more juicy meals. Seems to work really well so far.
