Ms Elizabeth's Journal, 26 September 2018

Today I went to spin for the second time. I was still sore from Monday but I still went. And... now I can't feel my legs. I suppose having no feeling and being unable to sit still is better than being in scream worthy pain. That will be tomorrow. Tomorrow will be full of scream worthy pain.

It turns out the instructor is taking next Monday off so he is offering a special class on Friday. Yaaaaaaaaayyyy? I have another 11-12pm meeting scheduled that is very important and it's my meeting to try to improve things for my department so I probably can't say ok thanks guys I have a spin class now so see you later. I'm just hoping everyone is in a hurry to go to lunch and it doesn't go late.

The other thing I noticed is if I wear heels my feet hurt less so I've been wearing small heels. Today I noticed that heels hate thighs. Plus I'm at least 2 additional inches higher when I try to pee and sitting is already challenging. I had nightmares last night that I kept sitting heavily on toilets and I broke one at work. Good news is so far I have broken no toilets. I also have new sympathy for tall people. If 5'0" plus 2" heels makes sitting more difficult I can only imagine what it is for those poor tall people.

Now... how do I get my legs to stay numb? In the time it took to write this I can feel pain and stiffness creeping in.

I hope you don't burnt out on the spin classes but you are certainly getting your money's worth out of them!

Good for you for going back! Those sore muscles are no fun, but you'll be feeling like a superhero in no time when you stick with it. I'm glad you didn't break any toilets!!
