Monday again! Gee the weekend goes by so fast! Spent a lot of time with friends, including Sunday crepe making at my house. I saved up the calories to be able to have a pile of crepes. Nice day. Not a lot of steps in, despite my desire to lose the next 3 pounds. I realize I spent the weekend stress-eating over this farmer situation, and luckily had time with enough of the right friends to figure out better responses than eating a whole pizza by myself. Pizza and blueberries were the main components of my weekend eating and I don't think I did badly but I know that pizza is not the answer that I needed because I did get a different answer that works better.
New strategy: express gratitude, convert stressing out. Grateful to realize that I have moved out of grief over divorce, kids moving out, cheating boyfriend, and most of all losing my dad after a very long difficult illness. Not stressing out, but gathering myself to focus on finding a partner to share the really great life that I have and knowing that if the thing with the farmer doesn't work out, I am ready to get on that business to find someone else.
I still hate Mondays though - hang in there!

Great post! I can relate to much of it. Grieving losses takes time. Glad you are taking care of you! Also i make crepes too - i learned as a kid so i could make cheese blintzes, which are hands down my favorite food. So caloric, but oh my!

my mom use to make crepes and roll brown sugar & melted butter in the middle then top with pure maple syrup, well I don't eat those anymore! But I'm sure there is a healthier way to make them, I just can't control myself with them! Good to hear you are doing well :-)

I am glad you got some friend time, everyone needs to let their hair down once in a while and just enjoy. Outside the situation definitely opens the thought process, it is great you all feel comfortable really discussing things.
