Day 1 of a planned 5 day fast

Mentally, after coming off an 11 day fast, I feel this will be a 'walk in the park' :) Started the morning off with a 5 mile run to put my body on notice that a 'sleeping metabolism' will not be allowed :)

Thanks all! The expected 'headache' started early (usually takes a day). I took two aspirin, drank plenty of water with my potassium and then smiled. This is the expected 'discomfort'. It will pass. At lunch I get to do a 45 minute walk and that will make me feel great.

Completed my walk. Headache down to a very low throb. Exercise while fasting is what works for me.

@Rachiefrachie - I mostly follow: "The Complete Guide to Fasting: Heal Your Body Through Intermittent, Alternate-Day, and Extended Fasting" - https://amzn.to/2LV5yci So I am suppose to be doing a 'water' fast but still mange to take in about 100 calories and 10 carbs in liquid.

just finished a 7 day fast...I feel so much better...I went on a 5 mile walk today to keep up that sweet, sweet keto...you can do this!! no sweat. keep up the good work just make sure you ease back into eating when done (I was a dipshit once jumped right back in and paid for it dearly lol)
