I still have a hard time thinking ‘lean mass’ rather than water ;).

People see water/food/glycogen as a bad thing for some reason. Say lean mass and all of a sudden it's good.

Just look at the proportion of likes you get when you gain versus when you lose. Meanwhile I'm up five pounds but my profile picture shows I'm leaner than I've ever been.

I'm always amused by the talk about retaining water since our bodies are composed of about 60% water. Our muscles are 79% water. Think of a piece of jerky, that's us if all the water were removed. 😁😁😁

Yes Shirfleur, yet the normal weight fluctuations mess with people's heads. The good thing about being lean is I can see if I've gained fat. Thanks, Rosio. I should have a drop tomorrow.

I shall continue to drink water since the notion of someone opening and eating me at a truck stop just feels icky. Soylent Green Jerky.....

So that explains some of the Jerks I've met, huh? They aren't jerks, they're dehydrated? Now I have to go back and rethink everything.
