not calculating my net carbs properly
The only thing I get a little OCD is the pie chart and ratio's only pick up the whole carbs, not net. I've got the carb manager app but hate having to double enter my food. Maybe I should eat less and save some tapping...

What would you tell your 16 year old self?
1. Ignore everything you get told in the 80's. Just zone out.
2. Don't marry that guy.
3. Seriously, just stop it right now.

weigh ins
I weigh once a month. My caloric deficit is not great enough to yield massive loss results - so I just keep recording my intake and hope the math and science works it all out.

My eating disorder
So are you wanting support for 'chocolate' or 'binge eating' because those are two different things. For chocolate I get the 'evolved eating keto one' cups (because my woe is Lchf) and the dark chocolate is unsweetened so it takes getting used to but helps me satisfy a chocolate craving without blowing my macros. For binge eating I go through a set of 'do this first' (phone a friend, take a walk, drink water, breathe, etc) to get past that first few 10-15 mins when the binge desire can be the strongest. And one of the little sayings that has helped me whenever I 'chose' to remember it, ((because it really is a choice - we all just decide whether to refrain or rationalize)) is from the Eat What you Love, love what you Eat book and that goes:
1) When I am hungry, I will eat what I love
2) When I am bored, I will do something I love
3) When I an lonely, I will call someone I love
4) When I am sad, I will remember I am loved.
This has helped me a lot esp as when I feel the need to binge it's usually emotional and requires reflection.

beginner question
I'm right there with you - a deficit but how much? Is there too much deficit, will I make things worse. I force myself to list to people who advise 'not too much deficit'. I've always been compulsive person.
