I have been so tired lately. I’m constantly fighting myself to not fall back into old routines, lately it’s been taking naps during the day and staying up late at night (1 or 2 in the morning).
Cookie season is over, but it’s been 1 thing after another lately. Kids are all sick with strep throat, I’m always tired, my activity level has been so low lately which really dampers my attitude... I’m just not feeling motivated at all.
I’m still logging everything and sticking to my diet but I have to admit it’s a little discouraging lately feeling bloated constantly and retaining water every other day. I really haven’t been drinking water like I should, so I’m going to work on that.
I’m going to go clean my house that everyone else but me constantly makes gross just so I can hopefully feel a little better.
I think I need a break from my family. #StayAtHomeMomProblems

Congrats on eating on target and especially logging. I suggest you consider walking. It's a great way to relax your mind and spend some time with yourself...

Patty it’s mainly just a bad never ending cycle, go to bed late-wake up early to get kids off to school, take a 2 hour nap because I only got 6 hours of sleep- wake up, can’t fall asleep at night till 1 or 2 am again, go to sleep and repeat.
I’m sadly the issue here, not food 😔

Congratulations on a healthy diet. Being a mom is a very hard and tiring job. But if your fatigue continues maybe ask your doctor to test your thyroid. Even slightly off can drain your energy.

Carmen I think we are twins!! Haha your stay-at-home-Mom hashtag made me laugh out loud! And the comment about cleaning the house that everyone else makes gross! So relatable. I have been in a similar sleep cycle—can’t sleep well at night, up early to get everyone (except 2 yr old) out the door—nap while he’s napping during the day when I should be cleaning or doing laundry...it’s never ending and depressing. I’m so glad you got a break with your horses and were able to exercise. Moms better have a special spot reserved in heaven 😉

Thanks Momma! Yes, taking care of everyone and everything has really worn me down over the years (probably why I’m in this situation) self love and care I see now is needed to break the cycle, so if that means more ME time then so be it 😁 they will live right?! Lol. Our kids are so lucky to have us 🤣

The days are long but the years are short. I know it's tough but before you know it they will be driving cars and moving out. My youngest is set to move out in a couple of months. Stay strong Momma!

You can do it. It is very hard to be "Wonder Woman" all the time. Need to find "Me" time each and everyday. Even if it is a 5 minute coffee break. Deep, deep breaths
