SABOTAGE! I do not know why I feel the need to sabotage my efforts towards weight loss, but I do it. I am a goal oriented person, I love to succeed and try my best; weight loss is a thorn in my side. I ate CRAP this weekend. I am going to own it and write down all the sh*t I threw down my gullet this weekend.

Half of a very large pancake with syrup, one piece of wheat toast cut into two triangles, brownies with butterscotch chips ( at least 5), a slice of carrot cake, red vines licorice, popcorn, baked dinner which was a little lasagna, a little eggplant parm, two cheese ravioli all smothered with sauce and mozzarella cheese, a dollop of mashed potatoes, a quarter cup of homemade beer and a partridge in a pear tree. Well, not the partridge, but at least it would have been good protein.

I had a bad attitude this weekend. My stress level is off the charts and I succumbed to food. I was feeling good about being 158, people stated that I look skinny. A word that hasn't been used in referring to me in a very long time. I don't know how to handle any of it. I am disappointed in myself and I felt like crap after scarfing down all that stuff over a period of a weekend, so here it is Monday and I am getting back on the saddle.

Breakfast - two boiled eggs
Snack - two light cheese sticks
Lunch - 3 oz of salmon
Snack - half of a protein shake
Dinner - second half of protein shake, maybe a taco salad with veggie crumbles instead of beef.

Do not do this your more than a freakin plate of food Sweetie! Your back on track and that's what matters! Back in the day before FS I wouldnt have stopped there it would have taken forever if even then to get back on track! You'll be fine stay focused and continue preplanning. ❤️ PS how many carbs in the partridge lol

That is right Bizzybee, you got off track, well actually left the rail, but you did not crash, you've got this!! Not fair, not hard at all to gain all the weight, but dang, hard to get off.

RiverratJ- Thanks for the kind words, I did crash, but it was a minor scratch. I appreciate your support.

Thanks Patty. Had I have eaten that partridge then I would have been better off.

Margueritem- Glad to hear that I am not alone. Thank goodness I don't like wine.

I had wine this weekend too. I did keep it to 2 glasses instead of a bottle. I had berries too. I was over on carbs but within my calories for the day. A small victory. I was at the same weight yesterday but when I jumped on the scale today I was up a pound. Blaming the berries! It’s not the wine... I know I shouldn’t be weighing everyday and I know weight fluctuates. I’ve only lost 2 pounds in 6 weeks. So a bit frustrated but moving on. Back on track!

Knowledge is power - It is awesome that you can vent about the "partridge incident" (being funny) - Like Patty said already you are more than what you eat - and we get to be human. things happen in our lives and we often fall back to the old programing to deal with it. doesn't mean you are a failure or a bad person - just human. Today is a new day and your progress over time demonstrates that you are doing what you need to do. As an aside the partridge is great as long as you avoid the BBQ sauce (reference my journal today) coating. I wish you all the best in your continued success.

Mjchamberlain- It is hard to stay focused when you don't see the results quickly, but I commend you for getting on track and persevering.

Hang in there! Falling of the horse once doesn’t void all the good choices that you’ve made so far.

when I lost weight the last time, people that called me :skinny: sabotaged me, in my opinion, we do NOT need to hear that, they think they are being nice, but it affects our psychi, I even had people say they liked me better when I was fat, I think they just didn't like, that I was getting more attention than them all of a sudden! REAL friends wont do that to us!
