I’m glad I don’t live over there anymore. We would have had to evacuate last night. I hope fires don’t ever get any closer to me. It’s very rare in Western Washington for this to happen.

Glad you and your family are safe. We’re also having fires here in SoCal and NorCal. Bad air quality and ashes on top of cars. Hope everyone is safe 💪🏼

That is where it is coming from... I haven't looked at news all day. It isn't too bad yet, but the haze is thickening. I'm glad it has died down more. You poor people breathing all that.... Everyone living in smoke.

I've seen some pics from California, looks like Bladerunner 2049 post apocalyptic sky. Similar to Australia not too long ago.

I’m in Washington. Our fires are mild compared to Cali, but 4 homes were lost in this fire and about 20 in different fires in the area. It’s really difficult to see your friends and community in fear with the fires being so close.

and we all need to pray for Oregon. I've never seen it burn to the coast so erratically like that. what a mess this year is.

All day yesterday was dark as in evening time due to the smoke in the bay Area. Street lights remained on all day. It was a strange dark but orange sky, half expected to look up and see the giant orange planet super close.
