I get real discouraged when I see so many people losing weight and I don't lose it even ounces. Then when I see Somebody's Baby or a nice family picture & it makes me smile. So I thought I would post my little fur baby. This is Brinley. She's a shitzu. I hope this makes you feel better today

Thank you JC for your encouragement. I watched some YouTube videos on keto and it just confused me even more. I'm really frustrated because I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing. I set my calories around 800 which is not a big deal for me. Then the app set all my macros. I kept right in line with the macros and the calories and still did not lose an ounce. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe I need to get off my butt and walk around a little bit. Maybe I don't have any metabolism. Maybe I shoot myself in the foot. I was so frustrated tonight I ate several bites of a baked potato. I don't ever do that. I knew what I was doing but I just thought it's not working anyway so maybe I just don't care. I guess I feel like just throwing in the towel

Well we’re definitely not going to shoot our foot😂😂😂 honestly, I would up your calories to 1500 and that may seem uncomfortable and maybe scary being that you have been eating 800 calories. You need a reset and try to keto at that calorie range. You just reminded me to set my RDI again. When 50 lbs down my RDI went from 2300 ( which I thought was excessive) and I stayed mostly below that but also had wiggle room, because there are a lot of calories in certain foods. Anyways, when I set my RDI to new weight it brought me to 2000 calories a day. You got this friend 💕

800 is awfully low. Generally you don't want to go much below 1200. Also once you have enough calories strength training and cardio help.

The third picture is of me before I got sick. It was a while ago because I've been sick for a while. My main goal through all this is to get healthy. The second goal is to lose the weight that I've gained. All my friends on here are great and I appreciate all the encouragement from them. JC, about my tribe, and many others of you that have helped me and told me to hang in there. Thank you.
