Day 5 of a planned 5 day 'no solid food fast'
Blood sugar 84 mg/dL
👶🏾 Not surprised the scale went up a bit...
👎🏾 Did I keep my net carbs below 10? No
👎🏾 Did I keep my protein below 90g? No
👎🏾 Is my morning blood sugar in the 70s? No
🌊 Yeah yeah this is probably water weight because my two cups of miso soup yesterday was unusually salty (because I added 6,000mg of sodium from the Soy Sauce I added), and that doesn't help either, but as much as it annoys me to have to track macros, apparently they matter for me.
🧘🏾♂️ I'm fasting and I am looking for maximum weight loss. If I wanted to lose weight slowly I could just eat :) Ok, actually that wouldn't work for me. Trying to eat everyday and lose weight did-not-work-for-me. When I start to eat I can't control myself. I don't need to get my 'brain fixed', I need to just have "acceptance". Fasting works for me. I wish someone showed this to me years ago.
🏃🏾 This morning I am going for a run. No morning 🥛 protein coffee for me (because I never really 'need' it), just a 5 hour energy drink to get my caffine.
