Lettuce Wraps with Ground Turkey Breast

Just like P.F. Chang's Lettuce Wraps, but made with ground turkey breast.

  1. Brown turkey breast with Szechuan seasoning and half of the garlic and onion powder.
  2. When almost brown, add vegetables and stir-fry until crisp tender; adding the rest of the garlic and onion powder and the soy sauce.
  3. Serve with lettuce leaves.
  4. If you would like to make a sauce similar to P.F. Chang's, mix these three ingredients to taste: ponzu sauce (potsticker sauce, found in Asian food section), sweet chili Sauce (Thai, found in asian food section) and Chinese hot mustard.

Easy to find all ingrediants except the szechuan seasoning, but even without it the meal was super quick, super yummy and super affordable! I loved it and plan on having it again soon.

This was really yummy. Feel free to change out dry seasoning power with fresh ingredients. I used 1/4 of large onion and three teaspoons of mince garlic instead of powder. Also, if you are in a rush you can use half a pack of the dry broccoli slaw (shredded broccoli, cabbage, abd carrots). I also added crushed almonds.

I LOVED these lettuce wraps - yummy! I did not have the celery or mushrooms, so I increased the carrots - ran them through the food processor. Oh my - it was so good. The seasonings are what make it for me. I like miki_nation's suggestion of the broccoli slaw - that would make it much quicker and the crushed almonds. And also I think next time I will use real onion. I did use real garlic. YUMMY!!!

Great, but make sure you get lettuce that is big enough to wrap your stuffing in.

Love these! I may try them with grilled chicken, too. I added extra szechuan sauce for extra "kick."

Sooo good! Added a bunch of extra veggies and way more szechuan (less soy sauce). These were easy to make and turned out delicious!
