Grilled Honey Mustard Turkey Oat Burgers

Honey mixed in the burger creates a fantastic burnt sweetness, while the mustard adds a bit of tang and the oatmeal keeps it super moist.

  1. Combine all ingredients and form into 5 patties about 4 ounces each. The mixture will be moist.
  2. Cook on a preheated grill on medium-high for about 5 minutes a side.
  3. Serve on your favorite whole wheat bun with all the fixin’s. (I used a sandwich thin, baby spinach, tomatoes, ketchup, black pepper and sweet pickles.)

These are sooooooo yummy and the brown up very well. Well worth making an extra batch and tossing in the freezer!

These were absolutely delicious! I reduced the patties to 2 oz. and they were still a good, filling portion. Formed, uncooked patties freeze very well and defrost quickly in the fridge, too. This recipe just became very popular in my house!

Yes but maybe less honey!

The whole family loved this recipe! I used 16-oz of ground turkey instead of the 12-oz and got (6) 4-oz patties. Also, instead of the country style mustard, I used spicy brown mustard. The recipe is quick, easy, and delicious. This will definitely become a popular recipe in our house!
