I've struggled with my weight all of my life--29 years to be exact. I've had many successes in my life including obtaining my Ph.D. in May of 2010. However, my weight is something that I've never been able to conquer. Now at the highest weight of my life, I'm ready to climb this mountain. I have many things to look forward to including raising a family with my awesome husband of just over a year, but I want to be in the best, most energetic state possible. Believe it or not, I used to play varsity volleyball in high-school and was an accomplished athlete. I look forward to becoming more fit over time.
