Beef Stroganoff II

A better-than-boxed beef recipe that makes cooking from scratch easy.



  1. Combine all spices into a mixture. Brown ground beef and drain off any fat.
  2. Add noodles, spice mix, milk and beef broth.
  3. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, until liquid is absorbed.
  4. Stir in sour cream, mix thoroughly, then serve.
  5. Note: based on recipe from Whole Foods website.

This was really good and easy to make. I added mushrooms to get some veggies in.

I loved hubby loved it and my 5 year old son loved it.. this one's a keeper!!!

Pretty good, but a bit too salty for our tastes. I recommend only using half the onion soup packet, and doubling the egg noodles. It was a bit mushy re-heated, so also maybe keep noodles and meat sauce separate until serving.
