Background:
34 Male. Standing tall at 6'3".
Was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes in 2009. Stumbled upon Atkins and ketogenic diets in 2010. From 2011 to 2013 I followed a strict ketogenic diet and went from 330lbs to approx. 230lbs. As a result of this weight loss and the diet I am cured of diabetes. From 2013 to 2016 I was lazy and forgot why I was losing the weight in the first place. Now I'm back in the saddle with a fierce determination.
Diet:
Non-strict ketogenic diet. I try and stay under 50 net carbs per day but allow for a few indulgences every once in awhile. I'm currently trying to stick to a cut with approx. 1400 kcal/day. Depending on activity level and calculator used this is anywhere from a 40% to a 50% deficit. While I am doing my best reality is often messier. I'd guess I'm somewhere between a 20% to 40% cut on any given day depending on what I've done and what I've eaten.
Program:
From: 2/28/16, To: 5/8/16
Light LISS cardio on a stair climber done sporadically and on no particular schedule.
From: 5/9/16, To: NOW
Running a Push/Pull/Legs weight lifting routine. I don't really feel liking typing out the entire program here but it is pretty easy to google and get some good PPL routines.
