That's a number I don't ever want to see again. With a little determination, self-control and patience, I know I can lose the weight if I track my calories and sustain working out 4-6 times per week.

I joined a 6-week RAW Fitness Challenge starting on 5 Jun 17. While I'm at training in Las Vegas, I have decided that I need to find focus by not indulging in my previous habits and surrounding myself with a supportive Gym and trainers. As part of the program, I am following a very strict diet and exercise regimen. My goal is to lose 20 lbs by 15 Jul 17. I need to hold myself accountable, so I will be tracking my food and exercise.

I was able to lose 30lbs in 2014 while deployed for 4 months with calorie counting and walking/working out 6x week. However, once I returned back home, my bad habits and lack of exercise over the last 3 years have brought me back to gaining all of the weight and a few lbs more.

I know that I am capable of doing this. Today is my beginning and I will succeed. I also know that a number on the scale doesn't bring happiness. I need to strengthen myself from the inside out. This starts with healthy food choices, avoiding temptations and working out. I want to do this for myself. I need to do this for myself. This is my starting point... bye bye 177.6 lbs.
