I started a journey back in 2010 when I noticed I was gaining weight and needed to focus on my health. Over the years, I've had success with tracking my calories and increasing my exercise. However, I've continued to struggle...

Fast forward to Sep 2020, I decided I wanted to take control of my life and my health. I started the KETO diet on 24 Sep 20. With perseverance and daily tracking, I've finally found the key to my own success. I also found out in Jan 21 that I could potentially have PCOS, which unlocked the key piece of information I was missing. When I saw my medical charts over the last year, my highest recorded weight was 191 lbs. I've struggled over the years and this could be the root cause of my struggles, especially with carbs. I'm glad I started my journey before I got the critical medical piece. I will still have to go in for a follow-up, more tests and potentially manage my symptoms with medications.

Throughout the last 5 months, I've realized how much diet is important, but the key is figuring out what works best for you. I now feel that I'm on the right path to a healthy BMI. I know I need to increase my exercise, but losing 30 lbs will my my journey much easier.

Today I tried on an old pair of jeans from 2015, they fit... I almost cried. I look better, feel better and am motivated to make the best version of me going foward.
