I am from a so called "big boned family" who never had a weight problem until my first child wrecked my body and I said what the hell it is all over with now. I let my self go for over ten years to reach a total of 255lbs, without even noticing. I went to a doctor for a spider bite at which time they weighed me, and the number scared the hell out of me. I went on an exercise craze and became addicted to it back in 2006. I lost 107lbs in 9 months, I never felt so good and looked ten years younger. I had my life back and was proud of it, unfortunately all highs have a low and I went through the worst period of my life. I became my fathers care giver while he battled cancer for six long months at which time I lost my father to this terrible disease. It was harder and harder to keep the weight off as I got more and more depressed. I stopped working out and went to a low emotionally, nobody could get me out of. Slowly after making a bucket list and completing many of the things I thought I would never get to do, I started to feel like me again. But not till I had gained 60 pounds back. It has been an up hill battle which I know now will go on for the rest of my life. As of February 2010 I have been doing well, back to working out and feeling better. I am down over 50 pounds so far and I am starting to see the old me again. Getting to the home stretch now and the part I hate the most, trying to get those last numbers to come down when you body wants to be done and you only inch along.

I have not found a default, but I think they give you the option just in case you do not have a good memory or can not find an item.

Kcook when I compare her recipe to the one you found they are almost exact. It could be possible it is a typing error, but I can not be sure because her grocery list before the recipe portion of her book does not tell you to purchase Smart Balance Butter, it just says Butter. When she is specific about a brand she writes the entire name out.
I left a message on her FB site today, so we will see what happens. Thank you so much Kendra for looking into all this. You had some great suggestions, I hope I can get down to the bottom of this.

You would think if this women is trying to put you on a diet you have to follow to the letter, why someone has not told her "Hey can not complete your diet without knowing how to make your food". I am not sure what to do about it, I sent a question to her website which claims to answer me in 24 hours, this was four or five days ago. The diet even comes with a grocery list which I can not find half of the brand names she is talking about in my local stores. I may have to drive into the next town and go into Wegman's which is the biggest grocery store I know, if they do not have some of this stuff guess I am SOL.

Well you guys I looked everywhere for Smart Start and found nothing. In all the local grocery stores around here I have see Smart Balance, but no Smart Start. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks you guys for all the feed back. I was racking my brain about the Smart Start, I guess I will have to look up a standard recipe for Hollandaise and see which one she is talking about. I have see her work out videos, I have a biggest loser one, not to sold on it. Has anyone tried any of diets from her book, or read Making The Cut?
