hi folks. i just finished with HCG drops myself (went through 4 courses over the last 8 months). I personally had good results, dropping a total of 58 pounds. the 500 calorie a day diet wasn't easy and i had my share of cheats. As long as you measure out your portions and prepare them in advance, it's pretty easy to maintain the diet. Men have it a bit easier than women doing the weight loss from what i've read. The main thing on the hcg diet is the near elimination of wheat, gluten and dairy from your diet - a common thing you'll see on many celiac disorder and IBS disorder diets. with these items eliminated, you'll see more weight come off even without the hcg. i found now by changing my diet and lifestyle to go without these foods (as much as possible) that i don't miss them terribly and I can keep on track.
