following: Fat Smash Diet
performance: gaining 0.3 lb a week

I'm a 37 year old male who has always been relatively fit and enjoyed weightlifting. The problem is that most of my exercise came from running around with my kids (5 and 7) and sports. I've always had the problem of weight slowly creeping up on me, but it had never been a huge issue to me until a few years ago. I had always thought I could take it off whenever I wanted, but that time never came up. Now, with some major changes taking place in my life, I am finally at that point.
Wish me luck!

*Everyone* should eat something after a workout. It replenishes lost energy. Please read this for more information: http://www.intense-workout.com/post_workout.html

Diet Coke~
I can't relate at all. I *never* drink Diet Coke. Ugh.
OK, so I drink about 3-4 cans of Diet *Pepsi* a day, though. Laughing
I did switch off the Diet soda for a while, but I figured I have been good about giving up saturated fats, starches, coffee, and sugars... I'd like to keep my one vice. Smile

Wanna be a Smasher...Help
Yogurt is perfectly fine. It has healthy bacteria that keeps your stomach healthy and digestion moving along. I have yogurt nearly everyday (along with some grape nuts mixed in) and love it. Eat it and enjoy!

What is EFS?
I'm also on EFS and I chose it mostly because it seemed less restrictive. There is a detox phase, but I don't feel like I'm "dieting" because most of the foods on the list I would eat anyway. It's more about portion control for me. The book mentions the "white" rule.. no white rice, white potatoes, white flour (and white sugar I would add). It's a great rule of thumb since it's indirectly tied to the glycemic index, which I believe is key to any weight loss plan.
Good luck!

Boca Burgers
I'm on Extreme Fat Smash and they are allowed (and recommended) during Phase I, so I would expect they are OK for FS, as well.
Sorry I don't have a better answer for you.
