Well here it is 2015 and not much has changed with my weight struggle. I've had a lot of self induced set backs and have a serious lack of motivation which doesn't seem to make sense to me. =) Trying to get back into the swing of things. Left my old bio below as a reminder to me....

I have struggled with my weight and negative self esteem for as long as I can remember. The lightest I can remember being was 180 lbs at the end of high school. I've put on a lot of weight since then and have also been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism (taking synthroid for that.)
I have tried many diets and always seem to lose focus or the will power to keep going. As of this week (9/7/2010) I've decided that I NEED to make a change for myself, my wife, and my daughter. I signed up with the local community center and booked a personal trainer. I'm on session 2 with the trainer and she's really kicking my ass.
