hi. I was always slender all thru the childhood yrs. At 18 was just 115 lbs. Of course things change after having children, and with getting older. After age 40 I seemed to be at 140ish. Not too bad really. When I started working at Kmart, with Cafe available there, I kept gaining weight. Was up to 169lbs, but I carried it well; everyone still thought I was 128 lbs. I wished that were true. I was unhappy. I developed some health concerns-always felt nausious, off balance, and had lots of body pain, & didn't know why. I would eat more, basicly a twix bar..:-) . I found out of course in yr 2000 I had a sluggish THYROID, which causes weight gain, and I was diagnosed with M.S. That was a shocker. I seem to "look" fine. but wasn't happy with the weight gain at all.. I decided to create my own diet. First off I avoided subs and pizza, something I loved..Breakfast Cherrios only, about 1/3 cup, fruit chunks, and or peanut butter crackers for lunch. Dinner was a bit more normal food of course. I drank water with meals to fill up and used some vitamins. In 6 months I lost 30 lbs. I have kept off the weight which I am proud of, except for having to buy all new clothes as nothing fit. So I went from size 14 ladies jeans, and am in size ladies 8. I'm not done with my progress , as I see one flaw. I need to tighten up the little belly. I weighed in this morning at 144. I'm happy with this weigh in just not the little belly.. Its like i know its there others don't of course..

I'm not sure why I've gained weight. dont like this at all. I dont eat big meals. Maybe its stress. Think I should eat more fruits, and excercise more.

I seem to have lost a lb. I know I need to eat more fiber, and protein. I'm open to suggestions for healthier eating.
