I packed on the pounds when I went back to college and earned a teaching degree. Now that I'm teaching it’s easy to maintain my weight during the school year, but I really have to work at it during the summer while I'm off.

I'm not interested in getting super slim, and I'm not interested in losing weight at a fast rate. I just want to lose slowly and be healthier. My biggest hurdle is exercising. I’ve never exercised regularly for any significant length of time.

Newbies Trying to Exercise Regularly
I need some advice from those who exercise regularly. I’ve started trying to exercise 30 min on the treadmill each morning. The last two mornings didn’t happen, so I exercised in the evening. I’m achy and last night I didn’t sleep well. (4 hours and I’m an 8 hour kinda gal!) I don’t want to stop because I’m achy, but if it messes with my sleep….I’m gonna pick SLEEP! Is it JUST timing, not enough protein or vitamins? What’s your experience?
