Starting over due to new diagnoses: type 2 diabetes, low thyroid, high cholesterol. I also have Fibromyalgia, ME, DID and am an addict.
I'm 69 years old now with 23 alter personalities I think, might be more.
My blood glucose isn't terribly high, but Dr. wants it below 100.
I live in Irving, TX.
I was born in New York State in the country and have lived in cities most of the time due to convenience.
I have trouble standing very long.
My goals other than the drop in pounds are:
Keep blood sugar < 100, move daily beyond the housework, manage my pain and other symptoms from the Fibro and Hypothyroidism.Be more social and connected, lose inches safely.
I can't find any pictures of myself.

Oatmeal sure spiked my blood sugar!
It's so good to know which food give you problems. I didn't know that movement would reduce the blood glucose that much. thanks for sharing the info.
Good luck in finding a way to eat that keep blood glucose levels more...level I guess is the word. I'm really new to this. I have type 2 and I'm going for a higher fat, low carb, moderate protein plan to see how it works over time.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
At doctor's office. Otherwise I'd make myself crazy - did that for a really long time and then made bad choices on how to handle it.
