Well, I missed weighing in on Monday but finally weighed in today. Work has been crazy and there were three days last week that I didn't quite meet the water and veggie goals. Fruit seems to be easier. I need to get back to making smoothies, so easy to make and a great way to start the day :) This week is going better. Determined to stay healthy even when stress rears it's ugly head! :)

Well, I didn't do as well as I hoped I would yesterday but it was mostly because I was so tired. My insomnia kicked in and I got about four hours of sleep. Definitely needed a sugar rush (or two) to make it through work. I thought I was doing well by going semi-low calorie on the snacks but ended up eating too many. I guess low calorie only goes so far. Lol.
Anyway, doing better today. Got my egg white omelette in for breakfast. Also had some chocolate though, which wasn't supposed to happen but I kept the calories low :) Still a work in progress but going to keep my calories lower than normal today to make up for going over yesterday.

Stayed up tool late again last night and ate an extra 500 calories. Going to make it a priority to get to bed earlier and start fresh the next day. I've learned that's a big trigger for me. Still doing well on not eating junk food, and hit all my minimums yesterday. Started today off well too, an egg white omelette and only two tablespoons of creamer in my coffee, which is sadly a huge improvement for me. I've started using smaller cups and not making it quite as strong, as well as reducing creamer so that I can still enjoy it without the 300 calorie price tag.

Met all my minimums last week, but did not do well outside the challenge. Ate way too much, and way too much junk. Went to visit a friend for a few days so I was away from home, and boy did I go on vacation! Weighing myself this morning was a wake-up call. Junk in means junk out. It seems like I keep having to learn that lesson.
I know I do better when I log everything and when I do daily journal entries so that's my plan for the week. Back on the wagon and hopefully todays weight was a fluke and I'll go down a lot after being good for a week. I think it's more likely that last week's reading was a fluke (down 3lbs without trying super hard). Either way, it can only be down from here :)
I've decided an additional goal is to lose 5 pounds by the end of this month. I think it's possible if I increase my activity and decrease the junk. I joined the 'no junk food challenge' last week and did NOT succeed so I've decided to try again this week. I think it's a great idea and exactly what I need right now.
Longwinded today, I guess I needed to give myself a pep talk. Lol. Getting back on track, making a plan, believing I can do this for myself! :)
