Yesterday was not a good day. Insomnia reared its ugly head and I only got about 3 hours of sleep before working 10 hours. Needless to say calories counting went out the window. I also only ate 1 veggie and drank 8 oz of water. Not happy about that but by the time I got home I just went straight to bed instead of catching up on the day.
Today is a new day though, and I'm going to have 3 veggies and 24 oz of water to make up for yesterday. Back to counting calories too. Determined to stay on the wagon :)

Totally back on track and loving it! Just finished my water for the day :)
Smoothies are my new favorite way of getting my fruits and veggies in. Well, maybe not new but I had been making small ones with dinner. The last couple of days I've had them for breakfast. What a great way to start the day! It's nice to know that I've got my minimums, I don't have to worry about forgetting.
There have been more than a few nights of microwaving frozen veggies right before bed because I'd forgotten. lol.
Really proud of myself that I've only slipped up once so far. Feeling healthy and happy :)
Since I started focusing on the health aspect over calorie counting I've actually been a lot better calorie-wise too. I think I was stress eating and then stressing more because it meant I was messing up. Now, I'm allowed to go over but I'd better work it off. It's only been like, two days but it seems like it's working for me.
I don't want this to just be a diet, I want to find a new healthy lifestyle that works for me. And includes
quesadillas, that's a must. Lol.

Back on track! New plan of exercising off the excess calories is keeping me on my toes, literally :) Still went over but tomorrow is another day. Got my water, veggies, fruit and exercise in. Also packed my breakfast and lunch for tomorrow. Had a bad food day but a great 'me' day. Feeling good tonight :)

Work stress and food definitely correlate. Still doing well on the challenge, which I'm happy about and proud of myself for. In an effort to get out of my calorie counting/exceeding slump I'm making a new plan. Instead of staying under 1500, I have to exercise away whatever I go over. So far today I'm about 250 over. Ugh. But I burned some on my walk and there's plenty I can do to burn off the rest. In fact, I'm now standing up with my computer raised so I can be working body and brain. Every little bit counts, right? Lol. Still determined!
