Warning about Dukan Online Coaching Program....
I tried it as well and agree with what you say 100%. I'm from the US and live in the UK and when I realized you can't find fat free sliced/grated cheese here, it clicked that I would have to go 3 months without cheese. (I don't count Quark and Cream Cheese as real cheese, sorry). I love cheese too much to ever be able to do that and not cheat. Smile
I'm also trying to get into Atkins now satisfied it's the saner choice.

New here
Hi,
I'm the same height as you and at my heaviest I was nearly 12 st.
I'm at 11 st. now and it's very hard for me to get any further along.
I've had the same experiences as you with people saying I'm fine as I am. I've also had experience with long distance relationships, my husband is from the UK and I'm from Texas so we've been apart for months. Anyway, I'm in the UK now so I know all about the awesome high calorie food from both places. Smile
I've just started a 1500-1700 calorie a day diet based off of FS's RDA calculator and what I did first was get all the junk out of the house and only buy the good stuff. You can't eat it if it's not there, right?

I've also been experimenting with combinations of stuff that's healthy and I know I like.
For example, I knew I liked Laughing Cow wedges. The Very Light ones are 20 calories a wedge. I had gotten some wholewheat pita that was pretty dry but I spread a few wedges on top and added some sliced turkey and it makes a really good, healthy snack that's less than 200 calories.

Anyway, I hope that helped a bit and feel free to add me as a friend if you want to be diet buddies. Very Happy

Free days?
Hi,
I've just really started with a diet that's basically eating better/less and I already feel better.
I was wondering what people on different diets feel about free days.
I was going to have one day a week to have basically one big blow out meal.
What are your options on this and does it help you stay on track the rest of the week or does it just undo all of the work from the rest of the week?

Confession Time...what's your secret?!?!?!?
1. I have so many cute pairs of designer jeans I found at Goodwill that I would love to actually get into.

2. I want to be a good influence for my husband.

3. I am living in the UK and want to shock my family when I next go back to Texas to visit.
Very Happy
