Mother of 7, grandmother of 9. Volunteer and owner of 2 businesses. I am so busy doing for others I have no time for me. Now is my time. My youngest is on his own now and my husband and I are going to semi-retire, so it is now or never. I have recently been diagnosed with sever RA, so the exercise is a bit of a challenge, but I need to do it so I will have the stamina to do the traveling we want to do.

Wow, that is a LOT of steps in a day - good for you. I really try for the 10,000 but usually can only manage around 7500 or so.

the shape of weight loss
I always lose in the face, hands and feet first. Then my boobs, which is great because I am a DD, and then my butt and thighs. My belly is always the last to go unfortunately.

What Do You Love About Your Life?
I love Life!! I love getting up every morning and seeing what new things the day brings. I love my family - natural, adopted and extended! I love the colours of fall and the smell of spring! I love my retirement home on the beach! What more can I say, I am so thankful for so many things, that I find it hard to find things I DON'T love LOL.

From what I can see you are not eating enough. You should not be going below 1200 or so calories a day. I am not sure what your RDI is, but all you are doing by eating so much less is stalling out your metabolism.

Before and After, anyone?
This was the picture that made me cringe and get serious about my weight loss. This was last August 2010 at 267

This was at Christmas 2010 at about 257. Big difference already.

And finally, this is me at 18 and 175 lbs. That is my goal now. Hard to believe I felt fat then because all the other girls were petite and around 120 lbs (I am 5'9"Wink. LOL
