What do I love about my life? Well, to start, I am a breast cancer survivor, so I love that I am going to live my life hopefully for another 20 years as a healthy woman; Secondly, I love my kids, my great and tolerant husband, my 3 wonderful grandchildren, my home that is NOT in foreclosure and hopefully never will be, that I live in sunny South Florida and won't have to worry about the cold weather (actually we look forward to the cool air) and lastly, the awesome, wonderful, faithful, and ever present buddies I have made on Fat Secret. This is life at its fullest.

Living. My daughter. My best friend who introduced me to the man that makes me laugh when I just want to cry. And my car. It's a 1996 Nissan Sentra and I just love the little bugger.
Don't let the ticker fool you ~ I started this journey at 250 pounds a year ago. This is a lifestyle change for sure ~ I've never been on a diet that lasted this long and worked this well.

Don't ever apologize when you know you're right. The truth hurts, some people just need to get over it.

So I don't have to keep repeating myself ~ I'll just put it here.....The team is the STEELERS, not Steeler's. I am a STEELERS fan, not a Steeler's fan.

My wonderful boyfriend who loved me at 287 and supports me in all things without criticism or judgement, who somehow never makes me feel not good enough while also encouraging change. Love that guy.

My friends who always accept me for me, my family who stands beside me no matter what. Having a stable job in an industry that isn't completely stable, having a roof over my head and food on the table.

You say you want a cheeseburger but all I hear is "I need love" - a comic strip on the fridge at work.

You have failed only when you quit trying. Until then, you're still in the act of progression. So, never quit trying and you'll never be a failure.

I love my 20 month old granddaughter. She took forever to get here but she was well worth the wait. She takes my breath away every time I see her. She is like a sky full of sunshine, always happy, always laughing, just a joy and a true blessing.
Things that make you go Hmmm....

. If you ate pasta and antipasta would you still be hungry?
. If one synchronized swimmer drowns. Do the rest have to drown too?
. If space is a vacuum, who changes the bag?
. What is another word for Thesaurus?
. Is there an imaginary cure for hypochondria?

Just wondering....

I totally love where I live. Over the past 40 years (and one housefire) I have a home and property that I just love. I have grown forests and gardens and have had a pond dug, have a newer home with everything I need inside and out (except maybe a swimming pool). It is peaceful here and I grow most of my own vegetables (lettuce and greens year around in a small greenhouse). I can have a vacation, anytime, here at home just by going outside or looking out a window..no need for a cruise or trip.If you want to visit me, click on the link.

Lowering my sites for 2011 to losing 1 pound a week or 52 pounds in 2011 having 82 pounds to go I should be 30 pounds from my goal this time next year.

I love that I have a relationship with God that supercedes everything, incredible Hope because of His grace and security in His promises. I love that I have wonderful people in my life and that my basic needs are provided for me. I love that we are able to live in the country and that we've been blessed with overall good health. I love my dogs. : )
