I am the mother of 2 beautiful children (6 and 21 months), I work full time and attend school full time. I have a busy life, but I am striving to prioritize nutrition and exercise. My ultimate goal is to be as healthy as possible, but I am also setting a goal of a 40 lb weight loss. I am excited to get started setting goals and tracking progress. I enjoy the sense of community that I have seen here so far.

carbs and calories
It depends on what you're trying to do. How is consuming 1300-1500 cal working for you? It seems like not nearly enough calories to me. Your body might be in starvation mode preventing you from losing any weight. You may also need to cut down on carbs and increase your protein. Carbs burn super quick as fuel and ultimately turn to sugar. Protein burns long and slow as fuel. Good luck!
