Back Pain & Exercise?
I completely agree with kittyglitter. Swimming is the best choice for you. You may also want to do some simple Yoga, beginners, to help in stretching your muscles and strengthening them.

I made a mistake of weight training immediately after I started losing. IT was too early and my body protested. Now I have a pinched nerve in the base of my neck and it is slow to heal.Sad

Don't rush and take it easy. Walking is also really good but make sure you have good shoes to walk in. Good luck.
