HMMMMM....


I would like this to be the last time I lose this 60 pounds! I am currently at my heaviest ever at 220. In June of 2009 I had gotten down to 165 and was so proud of myself. Then, my mom passed away in September 2009 at age 62 from breast cancer. I have been eating ever since. I have given up every other addiction I had and food is the last to go. I am 46 and I see that I am built just like my mother. She had a lot of ailments because of her weight--which was not much more than mine now. I do not want to follow the same path. So, my mom and I are on this fitness journey together. I believe she is always close by and is my cheerleader.

I started Jan. 5 and can already see results. I have not been on the
scale. In the past I weighed myself every day. My mood would be based on the scale reading. I have taken the scale out of the bathroom and hidden it so I can't see it every time I walk in the room. This is better.

I have always been a die hard low carber but I find that I have a really hard time sticking to it. when I fall, I fall hard. So I am trying something different by joining a group and getting support.

what can i substitute in my coffee for cream?
Heavy cream does have some carbs--even if the label says none.manufacturers are allowed to say 0 if it is less than 1. I mix my heavy cream with water--1part cream to 3 parts water. Minimal carbs, still very good in coffee. I,too, no matter what will not sacrifice my coffee!
