Short and sweet......65 years young....husband passed away nine years ago....I met and married my true soul mate and the absolute love of my life.....classic weight gain after marriage from being so happy and content or just eating more and eating out too much. I want to get back down to my 160. I live in Jefferson, Texas. We have chickens and two fur baby dogs. We love to go fishing, garden and build things. We always have a project going on.

I did it !!

I did it !!
I finally got past 170 !! I know it is mostly water weight but it is so nice to get down in the 160's !!! Even if it is 169. I will take it. I wore my ankle weights last night at work and plan on using them as much as possible. I could really tell the difference using them. I have 10 pounds to go or whatever it takes to get back in my size 10 jeans.

Hello All
New here and eager to get started meeting and supporting everyone as much as possible. I need motivation too !! I am an excellent listener. The diet that I firmly follow is a low carb one, but on days when I can, I go with the high fat also. So far, I have lost 2 pounds in about one week which I know is probably a lot of water weight. But that's okay too...it helps motivate a little. And yes I know that measurements are helpful also. I will add those to my journal later so I can help keep track. I have been searching for a group such as this that is EASY to nagivate through. I am NOT technically inclined at all. Nice to meet yall. !!
