I will be truly happy when my son gets a car. I am so busy every day running him back and forth to class. If he only has one class that day, I have to either sit in my car and starve or go get fast food. It kinda sucks. He's taking forever to get a car because he wants steak on a hamburger budget like most 18 year olds. Well, he's not taking Summer classes, so I'll have a little more time to myself soon. I'm not trying to sound mean, but my life really revolves around my children. I feel like a taxi driver and a short order cook most of the time, and lets not forget maid. It's great to go in the kitchen to cook dinner, and I first have to clean the kitchen so I can cook, and my 15 and 18 year old are relaxing on the couch on their laptops, and then my daughter says, "Hey Mom, what's for din din?" My kids are really great, but you know what I mean. Anyway, I have a super busy day ahead. Like every Friday, I have to do everything that I either put off all week or didn't have time for. Not to mention, my Dad's 66th birthday is tomorrow and I'm kind of pissed because I can't spend any time with him because his wife hates me, and will be jealous if he spends any time with me tomorrow. So, I had a little argument with my dad this morning. He requested that I buy him dress shirts to go with his new custom suits. So, I have to get to the mall at some point today. Of course, I have no idea where to get his shirts or what brand to look for. I buy Chris's shirts at JC Penny's but Dad has really expensive taste so I have no idea what to do. I'm in a crappy mood, but you guys have a great day.

Well, I'm not so sure about my food choices today... not terrible, but could have been better. The worst part is that it's difficult to figure out exactly how many calories were in each thing. For breakfast I had a smoothie at my smoothie spot (Blend it Up). Lee (the owner) swears that none of her smoothies are over 300 cal, but she doesn't know exactly how many calories are in each one. Today I got the Peanut Butter cup smoothie. No, she doesn't actually put candy in the smoothie. She puts a scoop of peanut butter, some chocolate flavored Herbalife powder, and a series of other powders. It was delicious, but I definitely didn't feel like I was having a low cal breakfast. Anyway, after that, I had to take my son to his class so he could do his psychology final. I had to hang out close to KSU because he was going to be taking his test for about an hour and a half. I drove all over the area trying to find a good place to eat. I ended up at Mcalister's Deli. I got the smoked turkey pepper jack melt and a fruit cup. The sandwich was really good and not huge, which is good, but I couldn't find that exact sandwich on FS. So, I found the closest match I could. I made pasta and shrimp for dinner. I think I did well... great portion control, more broccoli than anything else. I'm really trying to stay at around 1300 calories a day, and today I definitely didn't do that, but as we always say, tomorrow is a new day. I'm sipping on some green tea now, and I'll probably have an all fruit popsicle for a snack later. So, not a bad day. I got a cute new pair of sandals, a new scale, a food scale, and some new pjs. I'm a happy girl.... 19 days till Chris comes home! Woo Hoo!! (that's the boyfriend by the way) :)
