Awesome, Lisa! I need some help getting motivated for exercising again! I don't want to wake up one day and look like the "skinny person who used to be fat". I'm proud of you!

Katie, I know it's hard to fit exercise into your schedule, or to even find the motivation to do it, but it makes you feel so much better in every way. The key is to find something that you love to do. I love to dance, so zumba works for me. It's not as exciting to go lift weights for an hour, but I make myself do it because I want to tone and shape my body. I just do weight training twice a week. Good luck to you. Let us know if you find an activity that you like. Summer is coming. Maybe swimming or hiking or biking... just a few ideas.

I do like walking my dog around the neighborhood at sunset. I have an app on my phone that it linked to an audiobook website (Audible) and I listen to some books while walking. My route takes me on a two mile walk and once I'm done, I feel very satisfied. It's the effort of putting on my sneakers in the beginning that is so hard. (But here I am just making excuses. I know this about myself. I just have to work on it more.) Thanks, Lisa!

I still haven't made it to the gym, but I'm going at some point today. I've had on my workout clothes and gym shoes since 8am. It's now 12pm. I had to take my daughter's flash drive to her school, and while I was there, I decided to talk to her counselor who I'm pretty pissed with. I'm glad I did, but it led me to talk with the assistant principal and my daughter's therapist. So, I've been super busy just trying to take care of my daughter. Sometimes these administrators need a kick in the ass. They are really dropping the ball when it comes to my kid, so I had to knock on a few doors, but I think everything will be okay now. I just have to take my son to school, and then I'm off to the gym.

You smack those people around, girl! :) I don't have children yet, but I know that my mom had to "knock on some doors" in my highschool days when my dad was sick/dying. Let us know how the exercising went!

That's right Katie. I'm a mama bear. I can't believe I've been struggling to get to the gym all day. It's kinda funny how it's turning out. I've moved to like plan D, which was to go workout while my son was in class, but he just informed me that he only has to go to one class today which leaves me no time to go to the gym. I just have to wait there near the school until his class is over. I can't do anything but laugh. I guess I'll have lunch while I wait. When I get home, I have to cook dinner, so I might have to make up my weight training on Thursday, which is usually my rest day. Oh well.

Now thats the kind of post I like to read. Everyday is a new day, a day to get it back on track. I'm with you today Lisa, I stuck to my meal plan today and ate much healthier and leaner than I have been. I feel great already. Hang in there.
