I've been on this plan since March 1,2011. Not much weight success but I can see other successes. For example I think at least 1 inch in all areas. I've been measuring often. No cravings and less eating in the middle of the night. Now I plan a low carb snack. I have between 6 to 8 lbs to loose. It fluctuates.

I have been on a weight loss journey most of my life. I've been vegetarian mostly for the last 10 or 15 years. {not 100%} Recently I have been having bloating and digestion problems and enormous cravings. I new my diet of high grains and veg would have to change. So, I took a leap of faith and started this program. No more digestion problems and cravings gone. I miss fruit but not the cravings.

I feel like I've been a human experiment all my life with different plans of eating. At this point in my life it seems for some reason that my body is craving moderate proteins and fat. I deprived myself of fat for the fear of being fat. So this concept of eating fat to loose the fat is foreign to me. As for protein {flesh} I stayed away from it because of disease. Now, I eat organic and hormone free.

I appreciate this site. Keeping a detailed record of my food and exercise and having others to share with is a blessing.

low carb
I never thought I would see the day where I could loose on a low carb diet............but it happened. It was slow but it was worth it. I really don't miss the sugar when I slip into my size 8's. Very Happy
