Hello, everyone. My name is Debbie and I was just diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. No surprise really since I am so overweight, still, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I like to pretend that I am forever young and invincible but when these things keep happening (the list is too long) it becomes hard to deny it. The myriad of other issues this has caused is undeniable. Since the doctor is quite concerned, I guess the jig is up and I HAVE TO do my part to live a healthier life. Oh well, chin up. I am taking the steps necessary to improve my health. I am hoping to make lasting friendships where mutual support exists. Looking forward to the next chapter of my journey and looking forward to meeting you.
