Points shmoints. I trust FatSecret. They have innovated really well without messing up fabric and integrity of the site and tools. Am sure they will come up with an approach that works for these folks. Everyone take a deep breathe.

Fat Secret no longer tracking Weight Watchers Points !!
I used to be a member of WW. Who paid a lot of money to them in order to lose weight before I fell off the wagon. The one thing I took away from it all, was the points system and the points way of thinking about food.

WW wants us to think in terms of points and they expect us to pay for thinking that way. But you can't find points on restaurants, on packaging etc, so I've learned to think in terms of calories which are a readily available number and I am probably eating a healthier more well rounded diet because the WW formula discriminates against fatty foods.
I kind of see points as a bit of a relic from the past whereas modern thinking is that it’s all about the amount of energy consumed whether fat, carbs or protein. The RDI is an effort from fatsecret to give us some sort of framework that you can use with the nutrition facts you see every day.

Agree it was nice to see point values but looks like time to move on…
