Abdominal Pannus
I don't know if you sew or not, but there are a few patterns out there for shaping garments and corsets. They are not too difficult to make if you have a little sewing experience under your belt. BraMakers Supply and Craftsy have a few patterns and Etsy shops have a few also. They relatively economical once you get a pattern and a few staples in your sewing stash.

Let me change that a bit. I have only made ONE corset and it was part of a renfest costume...So, I cannot speak to the difficulty of making one as a foundation piece. I do make my underpinnings otherwise.

Abdominal Pannus
Hi Emma,
After a quick google search, I read that some folks wear a corset or girdle during weight loss. They claim this helps keep the skin from dropping as much.

Please don't get discouraged. You will be healthier without the weight. I am a LOT older than you and wish that I would have tried sooner to get healthy. Now I have medical issues that I did not have to get.

Good Luck.

Thoughts on choosing a plan for myself
I was talking to my doctor on Monday. She suggested the same thing as you are planning. She said to do six days on and one day off, too.

I had just completed the Whole30 Challenge and only lost a couple of pounds. I was very discouraged. She seemed to think it was a bit faddish. She recommended a reduced calorie diet with a wider variety of foods. Then, one day a week, eat what I want within reason and without guilt.

I am going to give that suggestion a try.

Good luck.

Soda coca cola/Dessert
I have been a glutton for coke since I was old enough to buy it...Sometimes up to 8 or 10 cans a day. On New Years Day this year, I said no more. Now, I drink unsweetened ice tea or water. It took me about ten days not to care anymore. I still think that once in a while I would like some. My husband still drinks quite a bit of it daily and it is always in the house.

But, I do like saving the money. I am thinking about giving up caffeine altogether this summer...It would be nice to lose another bad habit. I have too many of them.

You can do it.
