My name is Chonte` Frazier and I am 31 years old. I am a wife and a mother to 5 kids (four of them are my step-kids). I have been overweight almost my whole life and I am just tired of being BIG. In 2008, I was a stay at home mom and I weighed 331 pounds! When I would get bored, I would just eat. Since 2008, I have tried Weight Watchers, I Can Make You Thin, and Think and Lose Hypnosis CD.
I tried Atkins about 2 months ago and I would do good for 2 weeks, then I would have emotional hunger, so I would eat. So of course I would gain those pounds back that I had lost on Atkins.
The same week they had Whitney Houston's funeral, I had heard of 3 more people that I knew of who had also died. I said, "People are dying like flies in this world. I need to re-prioritize my life and get healthy!" So that is EXACTLY what I am going to do. I want to be the best ME I can BE!!! So I restarted the Atkins diet on Sunday, February 19th. That morning I weighed 280.4 pounds. It is only gonna get better from here! My first goal is to weigh 269.9 by Sunday, March 11th.
