Weeks 1 to 4

Drink Lots of Water

Guidelines:
We need to get use to taking in more water. Everyone should take their body weight and cut it in half- that will equal the amount of ounces you should be drinking each day. This will be hard at first but it is important. You can do it!

Eat Healthy Snacks

Guidelines:
If you like to snack a lot try and take a week where you only eat healthy snacks. If you are not a big snacker (which is great) make and effort to add a new kind of vegetable to your meals each day. This is a great season for acorn squash and there are some wonderful healthy recipes available.

Change it up

Guidelines:
Don't just do the same workout everyday, your body will need breaks but that doesn't mean you take time from working out. Make sure you change up your workout. Try different classes at your gym. Go for a swim or a hike. Take out some workout DVD's from your library. Just remember to keep it interesting.

Challenge yourself

Guidelines:
You have been working hard for the past two weeks and before this challenge ends give yourself one final push by trying something you didn't think you could do. Take a workout class that scares you. Add more weight to your lifting. Try rock climbing. This is you last week to push yourself. I know you can do it!
